Missouri bound
When it's time to leave, you'll know it
After a very long drawn out process we are now the owners of 40 acres in Southwest Missouri! Over a year ago we decided that it was time to leave. At that time we started looking for smaller venues. A place with a decent sized college, a local food scene, an American Outlaws Chapter and local breweries. A place with all of the above but with relatively close-by rural land with low taxes. Springfield, MO fit the bill and so we began looking in earnest to find a farm nearby. Within thirty minutes was our criteria. The place we found is in Elkland MO and it’s about a thirty minute drive from town. Springfield has about 150,000 people. Atlanta has four million.
The property is 40 acres with a small house built in the forties on it. There is a barn a workshop and several other little buildings. There are two small ponds and one pond that is about an acre. About 10 acres are wooded, the rest is pasture. There’s cattle all around this area. This is the Ozarks and the entire region is gently rolling pasture, mostly. The property is about 5 miles off the highway and sits on a dirt road a little ways off the county road. The Niangua River is about 5 minutes away.
So exciting! I sent an email to you both! Xoxo
